1. High grade VIN and vulval cancer

• Presence of HPV types (including non-mucosal eg E-V types) with Dr Judith Breuer, Royal London.

• Evidence of DNA adducts (Smoking associated) with Professor David Phillips, Royal Marsden, Sutton.

• The use of topical imiquimod in the management of VIN (and its effect on cell cycle proteins).

2. The relationship between lichen sclerosus, differentiated VIN and vulval cancer: a study of mutations in Exon 5, p53 and the possible mechanisms with Dr. James Scurry, Sydney, Australia.

3. Use of the Paget's disease register and tissue to understand mechanisms associated with progression to invasion.

4. Female infertility and cancer incidence: a long term follow-up of a cohort of women some of whom had received gonadtrophins or clomiphene. CRUK funded 1998-2003 with Dr Dos Santos Silva, LSH+TM.
