Gynaecology

The Gynaecology unit at UCLH has developed to become a leading centre both nationally and internationally. The department is largely split into specialist areas each offering clinical, teaching and research in their specified area. The main areas of expertise include gynaecological oncology, reproductive medicine, endometriosis, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and urogynaecology. There is also an excellent and developing gynaecological imaging department. In all areas innovative treatments are offered which in many cases are unique to our department. Currently the outpatient service takes place at the EGA Obstetric hospital. Inpatients are situated on T13 of the new hospital and theatres are based on T2 and T3. The theatres include 2 state of the art minimal access theatres. Although there are specialist teams we also cover general gynaecology and there is good team work to enable the highest level of care for each patient. more details
